RPM Track School 12.11.05 Jennings GP

I had a great time, I have to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Skip. That was the first time anyone had taken the time to ride behind me and see what I was doing. It was nice to hear that my exit speed was good and now I wish i had a backwards facing video cam to see the black marks I was laying down. I knew it was slippin a bit but now I know what's up and what to feel for. I also totally realize that I am a better follower than leader, as my times behind Skip and Bloke were 1.5 seconds faster than ever before. I also want to say hey to Ed the Brit, really nice guy, he hlped a bit with some good advice. And Craig the Opthamologist was a great pit neighbor. Bloke was entertaining as always and quite helpful with advice. Bloke passing me on the SV was helpful as I could follow for a while and see where to break and lean like he was doing. I got a pair of take off from bloke and that was the first time I had ever used slicks. The back tore up real quick but still held thru 2 sessions. I now know what it feels like to trust the tire while trail braking. Thanks to Mike Morgan for putting it all together.

Hey EZ. Glad you had a good time. I was looking into the RPM school awhile back. I'll definitely have to check 'em out next year. It sounds like you got some really good instructing. It's always nice to follow someone around the track that really knows it. Why don't you see if twinrelics still has his camera mount for sale.

I'll call Al tomoro.
You know, we should try to get a Tampa/StPete track Day and rent that place out.
I already asked some of the regular experts if they would come and help if they got in free. Maybe when the weather warms up-eh??

There's several people here and on SK that would probably be up for that.
