Question Fairing Fasteners?

Hey Everyone,

I just bought a track prepped 03RR but found that it is missing the lower fairing fasteners. The race bodywork has little wires behind the panels for the fastener to clamp on to. The stamp on the fasteners that I do have read "Southco 200".

I've been searching the net trying to find them & am not having much luck. Anybody know where I can get my hands on some of these Fasteners? Everything I've found on line is for complete sets with the backs. All I need is the fasteners.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Danny

TheKDXKID,

http://www.southco.com/ is the company that manufacturers DZUS fasteners.
There are 2 types of fasteners, a rivet type, and a clip type. It sounds like you have the clip type. Try contacting someone at http://www.sharkskinz.com or you may try ebay. There are several different sizes so make sure if you buy replacements, they match the size of the clip you have. Good luck.

Thanks very much for the advice. I tried navigating the Southco website but it was truly too much.

The bodywork I have is Sharkskinz & I hadn't considered contacting them.

Again, thanks for the advice.
