** Beat The Heat Is Back For 2006 ** @@[email protected]@

Back by popular demand, we're going to be putting on "Beat the Heat" trackdays again for 2006.

In case you're not familiar with the program, "Beat The Heat" is a trackday designed for the first time track rider as a way to get the street racers and canyon riders out to the track. It's designed to be an easy, friendly, and comfortable orientation to the track.

We're going to be offering more dates this year, and have again partnered with Take It 2 The Track (TI2TT), MTC Trackday, and The Track Club. Dates will begin this month and run through the end of the year.

Our first Beat The Heat trackday will be February 21st, 2006, at Willow Springs Intl Raceways Streets of Willow track. Thanks to the help of the sponsors and Motorcycle Training Center, the price for this trackday has been reduced to $50, the same as 2005.

This day is available only to first time track riders. No licensed racers or track day regulars will be allowed. Also, only street-legal bikes will be allowed. No racebikes or track plastics.

Contact Deputy Mike Churney at 805-857-6185 or email me at [email protected]. If you're on myspace, look for me - Mike911.Register early as space is limited!

The remainder of dates to be announced in the near future.

** Please be sure to forward this along to anyone you think might benefit from this or want to go! **

THE CONTACT INFO HAS BEEN UPDATED DUE TO STAFFING ISSUES/DIFFICULTIES, PLEASE SEE ABOVE

damnit! I'm paying $260 for a novice class at that track on the 27th! You telling me I could have spent only $50 instead!? Is it really full already?

Ok guys, spoke with MTC today, everyone needs to call to register. 818-932-0433.

Apparently, they're having a problem with the registration portion of the site.

I went through fastrackriders. It includes the novice riders school. I'm sure this is way more intensive than the beat the heat day, but for $50 that's a smoking deal! I got a big vacation coming up so I dont think I can take both the days off :(

Well, if you REALLY want to make it out to this day, let me know, we can work something out. And if not, no worries, we'll have some more throughout the year.

Thanks for all your service to our country bro!

Unfortunately, I do not have the year's schedule finalized yet, just waiting on a few more confirmations, but I should hopefully have it public by the end of the next week.

I'm not down that way or I would....if someone can't give you a lift, maybe check regular car rental places for a pick up also.
