New member. New Rider. New Mods (soon)

How's it going guys. I lurked on here a few times, but now I'm a 600rr owner. I have an 86 vfr 750 (blue/white scheme) too, but its out of commission atm.

My rr has some mods right now, but I think I'm going to buy some leds somewhere and get a bracket to mount my license plate to my exhaust. Why spend 150 bucks for some other one? (Hey, I searched...)

Lets see, what else.. oh yeah! Flush leds for the front signals, and possibly some HIDs while I am playing with the body work.

Thats it!

BTW, my bike is all black. Pretty stealthy.

Nice site. I'm gonna have to search to see if any has these installed.
I may either go with that, or the integrated taillight one for around the same price.

The FE looks good, but I can do one on my own.

Also the gold powdercoated rearsets and pass. pegs are tempting...

Thanks again.

I have a friend who says he can get flush signals like the hotbodies one, but I was wondering whats the cheapest you guys heard of them and where at?
So far ebay is the cheapest for 50$ shipped.

I was talking to another 600RR owner at the deler yesterday. He says if your going to do flush mounts to make sure you dont connect the wire for running lights. He said he made a roadtrip about 2&1/2 hour long. When he got to where he was going he just faintly smelled plastic burning. He searched around and realized the heat from the lights slightly burned/melted the fering. I looked at his bike (06 Blk/blk) and I could hardly see it but on another color then black it may show up more. He has since just used them for turn signals only (NOTE: Not having running lights on all the time is against the law in some states, want to make a point of that).

Ok so I cleaned it up, cleaned up my frame slider cutouts, did my diy fe, but going to have machinst friends dad weld and finish it up nicer. Good to go for now. Also added some flush front signals and ordered ca smoked integrated tail light and power streets.
edit: also going to need to add a 20ohm resistor to my signals as they are pretty much solid on.

enjoy..

raoke,

Nice mods you got there... Double duty on the RR? (by the looks of that roasted tire!). Oh, and welcome!
