Qteter sept 2014 botm build/rebuild

So as many of you may know, I was in an accident 9/1/2014 at Texas World Speedway. Ill show you the history of my bike and than as funds and time allow will work through the new build post accident in the coming months.

I bought a stock 2007 Honda CBR600RR with 4k miles several years back

Here's a quick journey to the present:

The start:

Besides rim tape, my first mod was to add the Spy 5000m Alarm/Remote Start, which I had just finished when this pic was taken... You can find that DIY Write Up Here

A couple of mods later

I had a hit and run accident on the highway presumably by a drunk driver (because it was very late at night) and so I decided I needed to fix up the bike and build it to my liking which put me here:

Specs:
Yoshi Full Carbon Fiber Exhaust
Tripage Custom Brake lights in rear passenger pegs
520 Chain and Sprocket conversion (-1/+2)
Vortex rearsets
SS Braided Brake lines Core Moto
Harris Racing Keyless Fuel Cap
Shorty Levers
OEM Solo Cowl
Tripage license Plate bracket
Pig Spotter II Mirrors
ZG DB Windscreen
DDM HID Lights
Tripage Headlight Delay
Spy 5000m Alarm and Remote Start
Woodcraft Frame Sliders
Custom gold Accents and rim tape
12 ocklock labs SpeedoDrd
Carbon Fiber Exhaust Shield
Quick Throttle
Tech Spec Tank Grips
Flushmount Turn Signals

Continued (reached max photo limit)...

Then the big accident happened Sept 1st, 2014 at Texas World Speedway:

Day of the Accident
--- These rims (the green one and black one) are my track rims

Transported to hospital with concussion and separated shoulder, here I am waking up in the hospital...

Leaving hospital the next day..

Surgery a week later...

The aftermath:

My bike after delivered to my garage by friend that was storing it for me 9/26/14:

As my love sits today 10/26/14:

ONCE MEDICAL BILLS ARE SETTLED AND I CAN START WORKING AGAIN I WILL BE ABLE TO FULLY BEGIN THE REBUILD PROCESS!!

Sucks about the crash, but we all learn one way or another. Good luck with the recovery and the bills.

Glad you're ok, but also glad that you got to win BOTM before so much damage was done

Glad you're ok. Keep up with the rehab! I also had shoulder surgery due to a simple fall and slide (nothing compared to yours) and rehab was a bitch.

Thank you! Luckily I am young and very healthy (athletic and flexible). I don't need rehab or PT (according to doc), just had my last surgery and in a few more weeks will get an okay to work out again! almost full flexibility now

New update! Did some soldering on frayed wires, installed subframe, front snorkel, and fuel tank

I ran into problems with the front end though.. I found that the upper tipple was bent! Waiting on replacement triple now so I can install forks, wheel and calipers (although I need new brake lines)

Just got fork preload adjusters in the mail from the good folks at TST Industries! I must say the finish looks and feels quality! Seems like it's going to be an easy install and will get some better pics and let you guys know what I think once I get my forks back on!

Hmmm.. Seem to be having a nightmare with the forks

They don't seem to want to line up but the forks and triple seem to be straight
