03-04 & 05-06:: Exhaust Differences

Been doing some research and I haven't quite found a clear answer.

Will the 03-04 Two Brothers or 03-04 Yoshimura fit the 05-06 RR's?

I mean the bikes LOOK the same but everywhere I go I see it clearly marked as 03-04 OR 05-06 ... not 03-06.

Anyone here put the 03-04 on a 05-06 bike or vice versa? Thanks!

we talking slip-on or full exhaust?

slip-ons wont work between the two since the mid-pipe off the headers is different. But a full system will fit all 4 years with the exception of on bolt for the header just behind the oil pan

-GPR Stabilizer, HotBodies Flush mounts, Jardine FE, Speedworks Smoked Screen, ProCom Frame Sliders, TechSpec gripster tank pads, DDM 35w 5k HIDs.

did you try a slip on or full system? as i said, a slip wont work. but a full system will with the exception of 1 bolt under the bike, near the oil pan.

What if you picked an 04 midpipe then an 05 can? I want the 05 style akra on my 04, but they only offer a standard can not the oval carbon pipe for the 04

you would need to get the midpipe extended since the 03-04 is shorter than the 05-06. or fork out the dough for a full system. and i totally agree with you on the 05-06 Akra can, it looks so sweet =)

as much as I want the akra.. i am prob gonna run with the yoshi pipe.. it should still sound good (even though it wont sound like an akra) and give me the look that I am wanting.. it looks almost just like the newer akra pipe
