Idle RPMs after install slip on

I didn't noticed this earlier...is it normal the idle rev at 1.5K ?

Should it be lower with the stock exhaust ?

I believe the manual says 1300 RPM +/- 100 is recommended.. mine revs about 1400. Shouldn't really be a problem?

yea. the manual says 1300 +- 100. mine came new at like 1400. didnt change at all with a pipe though. i dont think that 1000 rms will make any difference. should be fine!

It hovers around 1500 for me when I first start it, then when it warms up the revs drop to just about 1000.

Squid test:

So far, 13109 people (including you) have responded to this Squid Test Survey and have been tabulated.
Of those responses, the average grade is 53. Your grade was 82 (from 0 to 100)

A higher grade indicates a stronger sense of common decency, and a lower grade is an indication of conspicuous squidliness and general disregard for civilized society. Your score indicates that you are a fairly responsible motorcyclist but a bit of a wise-ass.

Hahaha.

1000 sounds too low to me
mine starts like 1900 and drops to 1400-1500
