PCIII ?'s

2 simple questions about the PCIII
1- When you set the throttle position 0% value, do you do it without any input to the throttle or do you take the hold the throttle to the point where the throttle bodies start to open?

2- When I try to set the 100% it always ends up being at 99%. Is this a normal problem or am I doing something wrong?

Zero should be set with NO Throttle input.

Make sure your throttle cables have a little play.. and not too tight.

You should be able to move just a tiny bit, before revs go up.

2) Using the PC3 software you need to set it 100%. Your map wont work correctly at WOT unless your PC3 knows where your 100% setting is.

You need to launch the software when your bike is on (not started) and connected to your PC3 then somewhere there is a setting to mark 100% throttle position. In your case, open the throttle to 100% (it will show 99%) then set that 99% as the 100%. I cant tell you specifics as I'm at work, but that's what the dyno-tuner did to my bike as it was only showing 99% as well.

You open the Throttle postion option in the PC software, you hit "closed" with the throttle at "don't f'kin touch it" LOL , then you hold it to the stop, and hit "open", then let it go, hit OK and you should be sweet.

Closed throttle is no problem, with the throttle closed ie not touching it, PCIII shows TPS 0%. I have tried several times holding the throttle wide open while setting the 100% open value. But after when I hold the throttle wode open again the PCIII only registers 99%

Try holding the throttle at 99% and hiting WOT Button on PC Software.
