Arrow Vs Akrapovic

I should be getting a bike in Sep, and I'd like to get everything in order so when I get her I'll have all the items ready.

I talked to a motorcycle Mech. and he said Arrow is one of the best and I looked at a few threads with NOTHING but good reviews, Aprovich has some mixed.

They are about the same for full exahust. So because of the reviews I'm leaning more to Arrow, is this a good idea?

Bike will be an 07-08 rr

Will this be your first bike? Cuz the exhaust won't matter if you wreck it in the first month...

I have neither, and though everyone speaks highly of each brand, I think Akrapovic is better.

Squid test:

So far, 13109 people (including you) have responded to this Squid Test Survey and have been tabulated.
Of those responses, the average grade is 53. Your grade was 82 (from 0 to 100)

A higher grade indicates a stronger sense of common decency, and a lower grade is an indication of conspicuous squidliness and general disregard for civilized society. Your score indicates that you are a fairly responsible motorcyclist but a bit of a wise-ass.

Hahaha.

Alright, just checking.. it's squid season you know :icon_lol:

You'll have to let us know how you like the RR compared to the R6.

You'll get skewed opinions here on both brands. I've seen them both in person and here's the bottom line regardless of what you're told here ... they are both top tier, high quality exhausts with incredible welds, materials, & fit and finish. They each have a unique sound IMO, so you need to pick the one that meets your needs, both visually & from a sound perspective. Price-wise, they are both very close. Try to find one on close-out like I did or during a group buy and you'll get a better than MSRP price. Good luck.

2007 CBR600RR

* Arrow Indy-Race Ti/Cf exhaust.
*
Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Tires.
* Shorai Lithium Battery
* Cox Racing radiator guard.
* Amsoil 10w-40 synthetic (MCF).
* Engine Ice coolant.
* Rizoma Zero-11 LED turn signals.
* Proton LED flush mount signals.
* Signal Dynamics BackOff XP.
* 3M paint protection film pkg.

i agree. sits flush, but imo akra is played out. thats all i see.
the arrow plate i could live with...not a big deal breaker!
and he/she/they can always shorten the arrow can to sit flush.
its easy to do, or tripage can do it.

I have seen both systems in person and as 600Driver has said you won't find ANY other companies out there that put out a better product.

Only problem I find is that with the Arrows most people have to pay to have them cut down so that they arn't sticking out inches past the tail.

I personally like the sound of the Akra's better and if its not a true testament to Akra's popularity there the fact that I sold 35+ Akra systems in my last GB :)

And EVERY single person died over how much they loved them on their bikes.

When you buy an exhaust that costs more then every single other exhaust out there and at the end of the day you stand back. And all you can look at is that expensive sexy exhaust looking back at you from your bike and you can't do anything but smile at how you have enhanced your machine.

It's not often you can up the ante on how much enjoyment these bikes puts in my life.. but my Akra had me with an ear to ear grin the entire first couple rides :)

I love the way my arrow sounds and looks. I'm not worried about it sticking out a little, you can still see the brake light perfectly fine. Again, it sounds amazing!

Here are some pics of my arrow on my 06 so you can see how far it sticks out and looks.

The white look is just a sticker over the badge. When you peel it off the background is yellow and the writing will be blue :)
