Fuel control system questions

Alright, I know this isn't really the right place, but in a way it is. I am trying to help a buddy out who has an 06 CBR 1000RR.

He got the bug from me and wants to do exhaust but had a few questions and I thought everyones input was better than just mine.

He is looking at the Akra slip-on for his bike and he is thinking of going 1 of 3 different routes. He wants to know if it is a dumb idea not to get a fuel control system to get the most out of the exhaust or not. I told him he should get one because I love mine, which leads to the next to options:

Power Commander or Two Brothers Racing Juice Box.

I have the Juice box and love it. I can make adjustments on the fly dependent on how I feel like riding or what type of ride it will be without a computer, and I feel like the performance impact from it is amazing.

The problem is I have no experience with power commanders so I can't give any informed input. How do they compare to each other (TBR and PC)? Which model is the best for his year if he goes PC (III or V, etc)? He said that he found maps on the Akra website for the PC, but I told him I really like my Juice box. I know not many people have the Juice Box, but I would love your input. I think I am going to add a poll also. Thanks for any input.

Here's a link also to the Juice box if people don't know what it is.

Dude you need to be putting the Bazzaz in there as well.

Much better system IMO then the juicebox and depending on who you talk to then the PCIII's as well!

haven't heard of the bazzaz. I'll have him check it out. I'll definitely have him hook it up through you if you can save him some $$. Sorry I never got back to you about the alarm stuff. I had a lot of crappy stuff pop up unexpectedly and never got the chance to get back to you. Prob still interested though.

not a problem man things happen.. thats life :)

Shoot me over a pm if you still wanted to grab one.

If you have a full system on your bike with a sensor bung (most full systems come with them already installed)
Then you have the option of buying the Bazzaz's self tuner.
So for a little over the price of one trip to a tuner your bike no matter what you add onto it will be tuned perfectly for a one time cost.

Not to mention the self tuner can be used on ANY bazzaz unit for ANY bike.
So get your friends to buy bazzaz units for their bikes and you can offer them cheap tuning for their bikes and make some of your hard earned cash back! :)

I have a pc3 and love it. A pc5 would be better because of the add-ons you can get for it.
