They make a specific tool for C-clips but I just used a pair of needle nose pliars and did it the more annoying way (stuck the points of the needle nose pliars into the holes and squeezed), when I did mine the lil middle tab between the two rings popped out, I have a feeling it's ment to do that since it came out so easily...

Just took my baffle out this morning, super easy as long as you have the right tools! Stop by Lowes they have a tool specifically designed to take the rings out. Last night i had some needle nose pliers and i couldnt remove it for ****, i ended up more tired than actually take the damn ring off. This morning i bought the tool, on the my frist try i got the ring off. The one i got are made from CHANNEL LOCK, their called Retaining Ring Pliers. GL.
