1. Put the baffle in then reevaluate. All aftermarket exhaust's are going to be louder than stock.

2. If you want to hear the Akra I'm not far away - we can meet up somewhere, I still want to hear the Arrow.

Weren't you just selling your bike though???

Yeah all exhausts say that. I'm in PV and I have an FMF. It's a moderately loud pipe. Maybe Chris and I will meet up with you and compare.

this one is basicly a streight pipe no baffles, honeycomb material, you can see all the way through it no restrictions at all. i think the arpovics have honey comb stuff right?

Too loud is risky in LA. Cops here are stuggling to meet quotas and are handing out exhaust tickets more often now it seems.

Nope, straight through. All the aftermarket exhausts are glass pack mufflers, meaning straight pipe surrounded by insulating material to absorb sound, which is why you may have heard the phrase "blown out muffler" or "blow out the packing" - the stuff burns in for a bit and wears out over time, lasts about 10k miles until you have to repack them, unless you blow it first.

Stock muffler has air chambers and channeling to dampen sound, more like a car muffler, none of the aftermarket guys seem to want to go that route, too much engineering I guess.
