Installing Power Commander... need some help!!

I looked through the entire forum but I can't see exactly what fairings I'm going to need to take off and how. I am pretty unsure of myself and would rather someone direct me to a thread or tell me the order in which to remove the fairings.

If it matters, it's a PC V and I'm fitting it to my 09 ABS. I really just need some help figuring out how to remove the tank cover without breaking something. Thanks in advance!

I haven't done this but I have taken my 09 apart due to some damage and to get the tank cover there is a bolt on each side near the forks and one in the rear under the seat. So...you must remove all the side fairings which is like 4-5 bolts per side so you can get the upper side fairings off that wrap around from front of bike to the tank because the tank bolts are behind them....than remove the seat pulling the two rear corners up and removing the bolts...and remove the fuel tank opening lid bytaking off bottom-most two screws and top one (@1200 if a clock)...tank cover should come off and plus you'll prob want side access for the install....sounds like a lot but really isn't bad.

Also, where'd you get your PC-V...did it come with the AutoTune or anything?? You get the IRC to reverse factory emission controls that drown power??

Good luck!
