Exhaust Question

Ok so im getting a jardine rt1 exhaust and i know i dont need the heat shield in the back but do i, or should i put the the one on the side back on?

I have the Carbon fiber Jardine Rt-1...no heat shields. On hot summer days, you may notice your right leg get a little warm, but that is about it.
