Heat wrap spray...before or after you dry wrap?

Did a lot of reasearch on the site using search. Ordered DEI, 2" 30 ft black wrap, ties and black silicone spray for cat/mid pipe. Got hte whole process except one thing. After I wet it and wrap I'm supposed to run the bike till it's dry. I'm assuming after it cures I'd coat it w the spray correct? Or do I wet it, wrap it, spray it wet and than run it dry? I looked everywhere including youtube and DEI site plus read thru every post here and could not find the answer. TIA

Let it dry, then you spray it. Give it a few good coats as it expands with the heat and cracks and peels if done lightly

Any pictures of it?

I wrapped my exhaust with header wrap but didn't spray anything on it.
