Unhappy PC Autotune sucks.

Does anyone have any tips on getting a good map from it? I get numbers that go up and then down for no reason. I'm thinking about just plotting the good points on a graph and estimating what the bad points should really be. I honestly get a better ride from a zero map than when I do my first accept trims.

Yes I am and I don't think I have any exhaust leaks either. I really don't want to pay the money for a dyno tune so I think I'm just gonna have to do some statistical analysis.

The unit will only work as good as the data it sees. Normally if you have erratic readings it is due to a poor reading. This can be caused by the PAIR valve not being blocked, exhaust leak, sensor improperly mounted or possibly a bad sensor.

Run the sensor test and let me know what it reads.

Well I started from a fresh zero map and put my bike on a rear stand and ran it through the revs at 5% and 10% throttle. I saved those numbers when I was happy and then I zero'ed out the AFR table for 5% and 10% so the autotune wouldn't trim it. I went on a nice cruise staying in first gear only and my numbers aren't that crazy anymore. Before it would go from single digit positive to double digit negative after one rev zone. The bike runs pretty nicely now, I didn't realize I was power wheeling WOT until my front end landed.

Thanks DJ.
