Question Akrapovic vs Toce Slip-on for 07 Blue/Silver

yes, there is plenty of threads on exhaust but i would like to do just Akra vs Toce.... (no other exhaust come into play here )
looking to put something on my blue/silver 07 and that Toce looks way sick on the bike shown below, before i saw Toce was all for Akra.... now what

difference in price would be about $100 between the 2... well, from what i saw quickly on-line

okay, thanks for playin every1

One for Akra. Toce looks good but I still say Akra looks better. Heard you're a track whore and Toce is pretty loud so it may become a nuisance to you but this is all secondhand information I'm feeding you Kali.

Just get an ARATA!!! :)

Don't mind Squidward.

Toce looks the best to me so it gets my vote. I'd like to trade up my Jardine for one but I'm worried about the noise as it is.

Damnit. Forgot about how handy ear plugs can be.

Akra! You won't be disappointed. I was going to fork out the money for a Hyper-Flo or a TOCE, but I found a used Akra or $450 on the forum that I couldn't pass up. It was flawless and I am extremely happy with it. It is plenty loud. It had my ears ringing after every ride for first couple months I had it on. It has either deafened me or I'm just used to it now because I don't notice anymore when I get off the bike. The fiance says it hurts her ears riding on the back.

And the nice thing, there is a used one in the for sale section right now. Same price I paid for mine.

For Sale: Akra w/ PCV

I just bought the headers from him. PayPaled the funds last night and he shipped this morning.

I'm into a full system now for just over the price of the Hyper-Flo slip-ons and $300 and some change over the TOCE slip-on.

Akra.

Toce looks better IMO, however you will soon get bored and annoyed with the loudness (as i did with my TB)

In the end i changed to an Akrapovic, decent noise, but not too loud. Added arrow headers and got louder and rawer. Waiting to add the akrapovic headers soon so can compare the noise even better then.

Well, I got my start at the track out of the way a few years back, haven't been last season but want to hit at least a day or two this year, depending on how I feel.... And my bike lost the crash in the book virginity at the track already too, so when you finally go, no need to follow in my ride-skiddsss

Oh I see! Well I bet you learned quite a bit and get around them corners pretty fast!

How's the poll doing? I can't see on mobile. And you aren't interested in arrow or leo?

Learn a bunch at the track, especially when with a good group and them willing to help you out, showing you proper line and body position/movement, definitely a great experience and learning tool...

2 akra
3 toce

As of right now those are the results.

And not really, akra always was up there for me but after seeing the toce on the same bike as mine got me thinking

I voted for the Toce because I have one and LOVE the way it looks. But... It is loud as hell. I'll have to see how long I can put up with it. Earplugs are a must when riding now.

Okay, I didn't do my research on this just yet, but is there nothing that comes with it to lower the sound?

No, It has baffles in each tube/can but it isn't much packing so it doesn't absorb that much sound. I wish I could think of something to tone it down.

Here is a close up. The diameter is about this size of the small redbull can so you can imagine how much packing you can fit in there.

^^^^^^ It's an extra 50$ to powdercoat the mid pipe.
Only options they offer are to PC the mid pipe, and I have heard that it could flake off. (Another member had this problem)

Toce looks real good. Not even a fan of the dual outlet especially the jardine ones but the toce is a winner in that category.

But that oval akra man, something about it

Toce is really loud I loved it but got rid of it after a year of riding w it and bought a Leo LV one evoII... Obviously akra is quality, but seems just too quiet...

Hmmm, so if for example the stock is a noise of 50 and still as example the toce is 100, where would you put the akra noise wise?

But if you could get the Toce to shoot flame out of both pipes it might override logic

Any video of both on same recording? I know there is plenty of individual, but would be cool to find same recording comparing both.... Not to even mention it would rule to have them side by side in person, lol....

And about hearing loss
I still have my stock exhaust but 99.9% of the time I swing a leg over my bike I have my ear plugs in.
