Chattanooga, TN

there isnt any close that im aware of, but i know there are a few sponsors on here that do it, and I dont mind shipping them off.

I took all the fairings off when i got it to paint, and replaced air filter, oil, and spark plugs when I got it. Just wanted to see how to remove the injectors so i can send them off and get tested

I can look out my service manual & post up a step by step to removing the injectors, but I can't do it right now if you're in a rush

I imagine you will find a pdf somewhere but I don't know where. or you could buy the service manual, they are a fantastic resource to have, it's saved me a lot of money over the years.

but I can do a write up on injector removal if you need it, let me know.

If doing one wouldnt take long that would be awesome!!! I tried looking for a .pdf of a manual and couldnt find one, and my buddy that also has an 03 didnt have his manual either.

You dont have to if it will be a ton of work though
If you do, just tell me what to do once the tank cover is off, as far as removing the entire air box assembly and how to handle the injectors etc.. that would be awesome!

Remove you tank cover, induction tunel covers, gas tank and air box and you will have nearly unrestricted access to your lower fuel rail.

once you get to the lower fuel rail, you just unplug them and pull them out?

So i got a manual from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?1avwcwlsz8gpsnx#!

and it says secondary injectors open at 5500rpm

5500 and under seems to be where my problem is..

and if i drive at 6k or above or stay higher rpm at 75% throttle and above then starting off is real smooth.... but if its always between 1-5k around in the city then it gets worse and sucks to drive and jerky and looses a lot of power..

so im thinking its my primarys are in bad bad shape...

there's a few but it depends on your needs.

PAIR valve delete
velocity stacks
performance air filter
gut the air intake

these are just what you CAN do, but you should read up on them for the pros & cons before doing any of them because there's a lot of conflicting opinions on each
