Is this normal?

Hi all,

I've had a bit of a read around, but haven't really found an answer that's reassured me.

Basically, I bought my bike a few weeks ago, it has a Two Brothers Carbon slip on exhaust and I believe it has a K&N air filter fitted judging by a sticker on the chain cover (not had a chance to check yet).
Anyway, when I bought the bike it had the bung/restrictor fitted in the exhaust which I've since removed. It seems to have free'd things up a bit in terms of pick up, and sounds much better which helps filtering in traffic, so I'd like to keep it this way.

But I'm a bit concerned that it needs remapping to suit the mod's, as when on light throttle (cruising at a steady speed), it sounds like over run/a bit spluttery like its misfiring if that makes any sense? It also does it a bit when letting off the throttle, but its mostly noticeable on light throttle at any speed or gear. It only sounds happy when accelerating or decelerating, but just cruising along it doesn't sound as I'd expect. Could this mean it needs to be remapped?

I can try to get some audio with my phone if that would help?

Sorry, I'm sure this has probably been asked before, but I couldn't find any post matching my exact symptoms.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance
