Necessity of a fuel controller

New to fuel injected bikes and the super sport category. As the topic title suggests, is a fuel controller like power commander or Bazzaz Zfi necessary on a bike that only on the street and has just a slip on? Thanks

no, not needed. It's helpful for smoothing out the throttle, but not really needed unless you get a full exhaust
