FMF exhaust!

Hi everyone, recently purchased a FMF Powercore S for my 2004 RR. I know the tip is supposed to bend down but I'm convinced there's a fault with the tip bending to the side. Here are two photos taken directly from above the muffler and from underneath. Anyone else have this problem???

I'm guessing the exhaust is on the right of the bike? If so, then thats normal, it sends the exhaust fumes away from the rider and bike, but more importantly it directs them way from anyone directly behind you

My buddy has an FMF on his 03 and no matter what we did it wouldn't sit flat and straight as viewed from the back the bike, but I think the exit tip did. I think it's made that way for a reason, install and see I guess.

Thanks Miweber929, I just wanted that peace of mind knowing the tip was made that way for a reason or whether its a manufacturing error. I'm so used to seeing the nozzle come out straight like the jardine's, leovince, akra's, micron, m4's etc. Anyone else have a FMF 03-04 please post some pics, I'm curious!
