Arata..... Matt Black or CF?

I love the arata exhaust, and I think the matt black would look best... but it would have to be a special order that might take up to 4 weeks... and its 650. Think i should just order the carbon fiber? its 50 bucks cheaper and is in stock now. hmmm debating...

The 03-04's came in carbon fiber and now have a special option for the matte black.

NM, Im probably ordering the full rs-5 Yosh exhaust (CF cone) for $875 brand new off ebay. It'll be at my girlfriends house within a day. I dont want to have to pay in state tax so since she lives over the bridge itll save me some $$ to have it delivered there. I just have to make sure she will be home.

waste of money champ. Get the Yosh slip on if you want that pipe, and spend the money saved on getting it mapped. Said it before and I'll say it again, the Yosh headers do JACK over the stock ones. Hope this helps.

AHHHHH Changed my mind again. Just ordered the Carbon Fiber Arata S/O with the PCIII Mapped from Arata-ex.com (S/O $600) (PCIII $299 Mapped) (2day air $30, so I can install this weekend!) Thanks for the advice. I hope I'm happy with it.

just one more thing.... Is there any difference at all between the 05-06 arata and the 03-04? (In how it looks on the bike?) Ive seen the 05-06 and love how it fits the bike. Never thought to ask if the 03-04 fits the same.

The '03-'04 has a different shaped can, it looks like this:

I like the way the '03-'04 can ^^^ looks compared to the newer ones IMO. I like what I hear about the gains and sound that you get from the Arata, but I didn't like the way it looked...well, on the '05+ RR's that is. The can just looks...big. It's like the width of the tailight. Just an opinon though. I'm actually really confused about what I wanna get...it's either D&D or Moriwaki S/O. Anyone have any suggestions about sound/performance/looks for those two, what they think in general, or which of those two they'd choose? Just curious what others thought.

Moriwaki is way better than D&D mate, go with the Mori.

A slip-on exhaust is a slip-on exhaust, only diff. is looks.

Go with the D&D, I love mine.

If you fell in love with the 05-06 Arata but you have an 03-04 600RR, you will be disappointed. They look completely different.
