need some help deciding what slip-on

i need some suggestions. i have an 05' 600RR Tribal, and i can't decide on weather to get the akra slip-on or the yoshi slip-on. i've heard that the akra sounds sick as all hell. does anyone know which sounds better, and the aprrox. pricing for both. i'm looking for sound and looks, more than power. thanks for any input.

Well i have a Jardine RT1 race baffle and i think it sounds a hell of alot better than the yoshi, i know because i go to school with a kid that has the same 05 red as me and it sounds like crap. So to answer your question i would go with the akra hands down.

Looks wise I like the Black Arata and power wise as well. The carbon Yoshi looks good too. Heres what it looks like on a Tribal.

Personally, I rekon it'd look better how it comes from factory, with this on it, but each to their own.

They sell the black one I posted. Must be just me though coz for me, that all black is too much, you need some contrast I rekon, all black just looks like a hunk of metal hangin out back, the Ti coloured parts of the factory model give it some style. Must be just me. LOL

I have the Stainless Akra on my 05. It looks nice, clean, tight... Sounds great too. Has a nice deep tone at idle and really screams when you rap the throttle. I personally like it better then the yoshi's I've heard.

As soon as I get my lazy a$$ out to wash the bike, I'll put up some pics. It was the black tribal, until I got wicked with the paint guys... I'll post some pics soon.

How much does the sound of en exhaust vary from bike to bike. Cause that site with the diff clips is awsome. Just wondering how close it will sound on my bike

What are you looking for in an exhaust ? Sound-performance-quality.?
I snagged a Jardine, basically due to no one around has one. Cheap, it does sound good above 6-7 k , somewhat quiet below 5k for town.

Check them all out sounds and pics.

D&D ='s loud
Yoshi='s everyone has one.
Arata='s Birdman's preference :)
Jardine='s cheap and good sound, F1 -ish

Performance varies from - to + couple hp.

PS don't listen to me, lol

The only way you're gonna know hwo close they sound to yours isto recored it and put it upas a sound file like they have done and compare. LOL I personally wouldn't expect your bike to sound exactly like any of the pipes on the clips, they're for an idea only. What you'll hear in the flesh will be pretty different I rekon.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I am going with popular demand. Does anyone know where to get the akra slip-on for a good price. I will be installing it myself. I mean, who wouldn't..
