No more cat

I cut the cat. off and replaced it with a custom open pipe. For the track of course.

So did I, it's not that big, but it's there.

Can't say about the sound, I put a Leo Vinci slip-on with it. I didn't do a before and after.

You can just drill the cat out, you don't have to make stuuf up for it, but anyway.

I took a huge screw driver and hammered a bunch of really big holes in that Industrial Platinum Honeycomb. I didn't listen to it before I did it with my new exhaust but I know it has a great really low rumble now.

If you drill this out, do yo ustill have enough back pressure? Or are you worried about your motor at all?

what? hahaha yeah GP Bikes with NO baffles or restrictions have a real hard time don't they. hahaha either way, your Cat is NOT there for backpressure, so don't worry about it.

Sorry cab, I misread your post. I thought you cut the cat out made a new pipe section up and re-connected the rest, but you're just running it all open from the cut. My bad.

OK, so I go back and look at the pics, and see I was right in the first place. hahaha Should have looked atthem first up I spose. You do not need to cut that out, you can just drill it out from where the lead pipe joins the Cat on top. Way easier for most I'm betting but you've done it now, so I wouldn't worry about it

I have yet to find a CAT on my 04 model. I'm beginning to think it didn't come with one.

There is no benefit, ONLY that you need to either remove it or bung the headers on the engine side of the Cat to make an accurate map on the dyno for it. If you don't you will end up running as rich as hell.

NRR, It started with N, you figure it out. LOL
