RS5 Install??

Hey im getting my shop to install a yosh rs5 slip on tommorow and i was wondering if i gotta tell them to keep the plastic heat sheild off or does it say somewhere in the instructions to do it?

i told them not to install the heat sheild and they were'nt so sure that was a good idea? will it get too hot without the heatsheild above the muffler? i got a stainless slip on

You'll be fine without the heat shield. They may be required to put it back on, but you'll be all set without it.

i kept my heat shield on after i noticed how close one of the brake lines are to the pipe.

I'm a lazy person who gets my stuff installed at the dealer too. I would tell them exactly how you want it done just to make sure they do the way you want.
