Just got her on the DYNO.......

Hey guys, I was just out at the track and got the bike Dyno tuned by a local guy. He was wicked, made 5 pulls and this was the result.....not too bad. All I have is a Yosh slip on and a K&N.

Did you get a baseline done before he tuned it?

If you're happy with that, get it done right, for the rest of the map and you'll be over the moon. Have fun

It sounds like it was just runs. He wasn't getting it tuned, just seeing what was there. 5 runs is a good number to get an average for that.

you should have included that in the first post, you said it just had a slip-on & K&N airfilter so what would people think?

"Well i figured if I said I got it dyno Tuned I would have to have a PC3"

Hence my post, and like I said, if he told you the bike is mapped after doing 5 runs at 100% throttle, he's dreaming. get it done right and you'll be over the moon. Have fun

Oh Snap! I didn't even notice "tuned" in the header. I figured with 5 runs he was just getting a number

"those are nice numbers...how long did he spend tuning it?"

considering he did all of 5 runs, not a hell of a long time I'd have thought. Again, if he likes that, he should get it mapped right, you won't shut him up after that. haha

for $70 CND I'll come up there just to get mine even a little closer than it is now. That's a heck of a lot better than $400 USD for guys around here that have not credibility anyways.

Not to rain on your parade...

What year 600RR do you have? Just wondering because I had my '05 600RR on the dyno about two weeks ago and put down 109.25 RWHP with only a Jardine RTOne slip-on.

LOL!

I love it when people post dynos "showing" how much stronger their bike is than the next guy.

"I dyno'd my gsx-r600 last week and pulled 115hp, just goes to show that suzuki is the best bike out there!"

Seriously, WPGRR is just trying to show his dyno. For the money he paid, I'd say he did pretty well, and he's happy with the results.
