Have been told it a akarapovic but unsure,

I'd have to agree and say it's probably an arrow, although there are quite a few that look similar. It's not an Akra though, their silencers for our CBR are a completely different shape.

You only go as fast as you twist the throttle.

Akra does make one similar to the arrow above I believe. Its just most prefer the standard looking one i guess.

Similar yes, but it's still quite oval in shape. The one in the picture looks too round to me.

Actually its a hex and they make a round one too. Ive never seen a oval but i believe you. They have like 4 for the 600rr. You just never see any other than the one really..

I second the Scorpion. In OP's picture, where the tip is attached to the can, there isn't the beautiful weld on the outside like the Arrow. The weld is inside like on the Scorpion.
