Routing difference between 2006 and 2007-newer

Hello everyone. Looking for a little help here. I recently picked up a 2006 CBR and I'm looking at different exhaust options. I really like the Toce exhaust, but it look like they're only available for 2007-newer bikes. I just did an exhaust install on a buddies 2012 CBR and it looks like its the same routing as my 2006. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I appreciate the help and apologize for my NOOBness.

Routing may be the same but where and how it's attached to the headers and the pipe size are different between the bikes. If you cobble it enough, and it's a Toce so cobble is its middle name, you could probably make it fit.

But do yourself, everyone around you and your wallet a favor and just buy a decent quality, reasonable sounding pipe from the start. If you want to overpay for a fart can get a Two Brothers and invest the money left over so it'll be enough to afford the replacement can in a year after this one blows apart. A much smarter move.

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. I've listened to a lot of exhaust clips (more than I care to admit) and there aren't a lot of them that I'm overly impressed with. Factoring in sound and looks, Toce was the best bet for me.

I installed a Yoshi on a friends bike this weekend and I was not impressed at all with the sound. It looked good on the bike, but when he drove away I was just turned off completely.

I'm just having a hard time justifying a house note on an exhaust for bike that I only ride on the weekends and when the weather is decent through the week.
