$600! that is way too much. The same slip on for the 1krr is around $425-450. The prices for all of jardine's slip ons are hardly different between the 600 and the 1k when you look at the same pipe, just different bike. The prices are usually the same. They are the pretty much the same system, just different bends.

CF single outlet race baffle for 600rr-$362

CF single outlet race baffle for 1krr-$362

CF dual outlet race baffle for 1krr-$436

I would expect the trend to keep up ;)

One of my buddies has this pipe for his 1000RR, I love it. Sounds awesome, but most 1000's do to me anyway.

I am! I have been waiting until winter to do an exhaust, and I heard about this one, so I have been waiting. People do change their exhausts you know! Just because you have an aftermarket exhaust, doesn'e mean you can't change it for something that you like better. Keep the thread on topic.

New release date. The release was pushed back from today to the 15th next Thursday according to Terry at Jardine. Pre Orders will still follow the same procedure as was for today, all pre orders will receive a phone call from Jardine to confirm the order is still in need and then all pre orders will be shipped out.

WTF enough is enough pushed back again this time till March 15 acording to Terry at Jardine. Almost not worth waiting on. Acording to Jardine they have 2000 pre orders paid for. I can't understand how they push it back form last Tuesday to this Thursday a week and now they push it back a month. They are having trouble getting materials for some odd reason. What was a week has now turned into another month. Sounds to me like they are just sandbaging orders causing a false supply and demand issue to drive up sales. Mine is paid for so im waiting but for someone that is looking at a track day or wanting something now, you will be waiting on this one. This is the same thing that yoshi did with their carbon fiber with carbon cone, keept pushing back the release date to drive sales.

i think in this case... a better sales strategy would be to have a very limited release on a set date and advertise this rather than push back the date on the entire release. as with most companies... there is usually a disconnect between sales and engineering/manufacturing.

i think they want to show this product at the indy show to get some excitement generated from other dealers also (the non-internet ones).

it will be here soon.

cheers... nick - mri

^^ For real, as soon as i saw this pipe I was in love, but I don't know if i want to wait. It would give me time to save the money, but...that's also more time to buy someone's used one for cheaper.
