05 W/ Akra slip on vid!

Ok..here are the sound clips of the Akra....

Keep in mind when you are watching these that.......

(1) they were shot by my 12 year old daughter
(2) I was squiddin' it pretty bad
(3) depending on your pc the sound might sound crappy.

Although with my Pc it actually sounded prretty good with the sound turned up but Much better in person of course but not bad considering this video was taken with a Panasonic compact digital camera. I think it actually takes better video then my camcorder..LOL

Sounds great and thanks for posting the video on photobucket. It's one of the few that isn't restricted on these work computers.

I just replaced my Yoshi RS-5 slip on with a Carbon/Ti Akra slip on and I was really pleased with the sound difference. More of a low rumble. I love the looks of the carbon fiber/titanium vs. the shiny stainless steel of the Yoshi. Feels much lighter in the hand also.

I put up a post about this but I'm not getting much of a response. The Arrow website says their midpipe will fit the stock headers or their (Arrow) headers. Since the Akra midpipe fits the stock headers, shouldn't it fit the Arrow headers as well?

Sorry for jacking your thread.

I think the Arrow headers can be ordered for $400 so it would be a more economic way of upgrading to full system if it'll work.

Thanks .....my neighbor has a Yoshi on his 05 R6 and he said the same exact thing...he really like it better over the Yoshi...If you like that deep low growl, this is it!!

The one I got is the "Akrapovic Titanium Slip-On" As for the model number....I can go look at the box for you if you want, just let me know...I bought it right here on the site off our very own Infamous "Moeman" I don't think you will find it anywhere for what I paid for it...I think the cheapest I found it was $479...but you can always contact our site vendors and see what kind of price they can do it for.

this might be one of them things that you will have to order and see...if it works great...if not then send it back...but I guess what I dont understand is why you didnt just get the complete Akra system if you wanted a full system??

Yeah, I got a really good deal on the Akra. I wasn't really thinking about getting a full system until recently. I guess I'll try out the Arrow headers and let you all know if it works.
