D&D twin

anyone put the D&D on an 05 or 06? Cant fit mid-pipe on my 06.

i heard they are very LOUD

So I tell the wife i am going yak-fishing. She then asks me if yak fish are good to eat???:headscrat

Yes, I have it on my 05. The stock slip-on has a "gasket" around the factory pipe right at the connection where the catalytic converter is. When you pull the factory slip-on off, you may have to pry the "gasket" up some to break it loose. The D&D fits on with no gasket. Yes, it is loud. I love the sound though. At idle it sounds like a larger displacement bike. Revved out still hsa a very sweet sound, not typical D&D sound. It is a 600RR specific sound for D&D.

$450 for a slip-on is not high to me.

Which FE? I just used a Competition Werkes unit. I don't think D&D has a FE.

no thats not what i meant. i meant that all the pics of the D&D that ive seen have some jerry rigged FE. the plate sits all crooked because of the pipes. i used to want that exhaust but that really turned me away. where did u find this pipe for $450?

It's plenty loud, but with a good sound. I got mine from Extreme Performance Motorcycles in Gastonia NC. There should be a pic of my D&D and FE on another thread.
