Do I need a PCIII?

Hope you guys can help me. Do I need a PCIII if I put a slip on exhaust on my bike? '05 600RR.

u dont need one but it wouldnt hurt to have one either.

if u have the money go for it

You may need one depending on the pipe you get. Some change the fuel mapping more than others.

It gives you the ability to control fuel mapping very precisely. How important is having the right fuel curve?

Ever since I put on my Micron Slip on its been running rich I can tell from the smell of the exhaust. Ive been thinking of getting a PCIII just to improve the MPG and get the correct fuel ratio. I'll look into getting one more once I get the bike out this spring

I love my PCiii , but as everyone else said, its no a necessity, but is nice to have that little xtra ass....
