It's pretty straight-forward as long as you have some simple tools and patience.

There's a thread on here that goes through step-by-step. That's what I used for my install, and had no problems at all.

its easy, do it yourself.
just take the seat, rear plastic tank and left side plastic off.

Its not worth paying for it, u can do it with minimum tools.

No more mod listing, shits is STILL too long

shouldnt be hard at all. being mechanically/electrically inclined helps.

dont know if your located in Socal (SD area) but...
i met a guy who just started a shop and will install them for $75 w/mapping.
thats what he told me and wes600rr. i have yet to investigate this persons
knowledge, shop, pricing and touch base with this guy.

From the write up on this site it looks like alot longer than 10 minutes. My dealer did the install free with the purchase, though. And the custom mapping cost 250. My brother-in-law says his local shops in Oceanside, CA don't do installs. Maybe smog rules?

It took me about 15-20 minutes last week. Most of that was taking off the plastics, I took them all off because I am doing a bunch of mods (https://www.600rr.net/vb/showthread.php?t=69413).

"Dannii" my '06 rr, Tripage Fender Eliminator, peg flashers, and rear hugger, Puig dark smoke DB, Scorpio alarm, Black StompGrip's, Watsen Design "Old School" LED Front signals, PC3, Hamaguchi Full Exhaust w/ custom map, ohlins .95 front springs, Woodcraft Frame Sliders, g-craft rear res, ohlins steering damper, Goodridge front brake lines.
