Remove California exahust

Hey i searched all over but could not find info. I have a track bike htat i need to remove the CA exahust thing on and would love a some one to give me a link to a write up on it.

don't do it!!!

I did it and putting it back on. The only difference it that it smells like gas and spent exhaust. yuck to the max.

i dont know exactly what the cali exhaust has extra on it but maybe buy a stock exhaust off egay that doesnt have it. you can usually get it for pretty cheap

They ripped my cali stuff out at Mach 1 when I got my bike tuned. No extra smells, gas or exhaust. I followed their recommendation performance and tune wise and I'm beyond happy with the outcome.

I need to plug my hoses then. I'm kind of against smelling like truck exhaust.

Thats what i am looking for , the guide that tells me what vacum hoses to close off and such

sorry dude. Ask Pantablo. He races a lot and know the ropes. I think he did a thread about it back when I did my removal.

You can plug up the PAIR ports on the valve cover if you don't want to purchase the block-off plate. They sell caps at any auto store.
