Akrapovic hex slip not for an 05 RR?

So, is the guy at parts unlimited full of it, or do they not make the Akro Hex slip on for the '05 model? I thought the 05 and 06 were the same, but he said the 06 can is too long.

I know I've seen guys on here with it installed on an 05. Did they have to do anything weird to make it fit?

My guess is that the parts unlimited guy is an idiot.

Yeah, I did some more digging and realized he didn't know what he was talking about. Thanks for the replies though. Actually, I may have found it somewhere else and since the guy at P.Unlimited was a dork, I'm not going to give them the sale.
