power cpmmander 04..05

does it matter if i have an 04 and the pcIII is for an 05?

The part numbers for the unit are different for the 04 and 05 at the Power Commander website so my guess would be yes, it matters. It may just be an issue of getting maps specific to the 04, but the connectors might be different as well.

I think the only different thing is the loaded map that comes on the the unit.... but dont quote me...

The PowerCommanders are interchangable between 03-04 and 05-06, you only need to load the 04 specific map.

Yeah but I'm pretty sure the only other differenec is the connectors not the actual power commander

connectors are the same. I have a 03/04 pc (pt#115-411) on my '06. Just use a map suitable for your bike.

Tri colour CBR600RR6
