Heat Shields

Well my Jardine RT-1 Dual outlet is on it's way... So I took the stocker off today.. When you guys upgrade exhausts do you take both the heatshield under the tail and the heatshild on the right by your leg both off??? What is what most people do.. I tried searching but I couldnt see if they took the right leg one off..

I have an Akra full system, So I had to remove the plate by the leg. But as usmcr6 said, I also have a CF can so there isn't much heat. To the point that just about as soon as I get off the bike I can put my hands on it and not get burned. Just feels warm to the touch.
