Looks quality. Sticks out to far for me but 2b has the best sound hands down. How you like it; thats what counts. Anyway, nice bike.

yeah it does stick out crooked, thats how it is on the 04...i wanted people to see that. i like the pipe a lot the sound is insane it just has a deeeep growl its like a muscle car almost...i was having second thoughts on it because i kept reading that lame ass post about people who dont like aggressive pipes(long ass argument) anyway i was skeptical about mine cause it was "to loud" and wasnt giving enough hp..but i really love the look of it and the sound is awesome...yead id like to have the best but this is fine for me right now.

i don't get it, why is it so crooked on an '04 and not on a '05? you must have done it by yourself i'm guessing?( not being a dink, just asking 'cos i had to have help to line mine up properly)

Ok, this is going to be the deciding factor on my decision in which exhaust. I think the two Bros stick out about two inches too far. How do you go about cutting them to make them fit better? Also I hear the the Two Bros are the best sounding but annoying loud after a while... have any of you used the Tip they offer to quiet it down some?

Nice exhaust! I went with a 2 Bros CF pipe recently.

While some may argue that it sticks out too far - I think it's about right.

Looks good, too loud for my taste though...

Yours does not seem to stick out as far as the other guys... Have you tried out the performance tip that makes it a little quieter? Two Bros says that it does not effect performance but quiets the pipe by 2 to 3 dB. Does the carbon fiber can resinate real well? I ask because I am looking at buying that pipe...

The CF sounds awesome although I've not personally heard other 2 Bros pipes made of aluminum or titanium. From idle to about 7k, the exhaust has a nice deep growl with good amounts of resonation. Above 7k, the pipe just screams - it acutally seems to get somewhat quieter while sounding great.

I have mine on an 05 and it really dosn't seem to stick out as far as 03-04 models. Not sure why, but who cares when it sounds like it does. I have a CF two bros and it goes nice with a black bike.

I have the C5 on my 05 I love it, great sound. To shorten it you pull out the rivets, and just cut it with a sawz all or saw put the band back on and drill for the rivets and put in new rivets. It is not real easy but not the hardest thing. This is just a brief description I have not done this personally.

Its pretty straight forward.
Take the pipe off, remove the car from the midpipe piece
Drill out the rivets on the end cap
Mark how much you want cut off
Tape this area (in order to help insure a clean cut with no split ends)
Put the packing back in the pipe
Rerivet the end cap on

This can be down to either end so if you want to leave the logo on then you can just cut off the bottom of the pipe

Two Bros C5, Puig DB, Pazzo Shorties, LP Flushies
Shock Racing rear turn signals
Scotts Steering Damper
DIY polished rims, F/E, Black Swingarm/Cases
Adjustable Heated Grips (kickass!)
