APE PRO vs regular cam chain tensioner

I've finally given up on my oem cam chain tensioners [they are actually lasting less and less each time I replace them, after 4 I'm done] and went to order a manual ape this morning. They recently started making a pro series @$90 vs the reg @64. Pro series looks much nicer and is supposed to be easier to adjust, but how often do you have to adjust the manual ones to being with? Just trying to figure out if its worth the extra cash?
