Gas gauge slow to read ?

The gauge worked fine until i put a new complete oem fuel pump assembly in. It still works, but when I fill it up it takes the bike 2 full minutes to register full on the tach. Not just full, any increase of gas. Luckily i think it registers depleted gas correctly tho bc ive yet to run out.

That's odd. Did you disconnect the battery terminals and leave them off for a minute to let the bike "so to speak" restart? I'd try this.

I got strange readings on that gauge due to the plug in the back of the tach being a little loose... Check it!
