Red face Knock Sensor

I got a F1 light on my bike -code 25 and my symptoms point to knock sensor ??not 100% sure , but seeing the knock sensor is relatively cheap , i bought it and have it ready to be installed.

How hard is it to replace the knock sensor on a 2008 cbr 600rr?
What has to be removed to replace it , besides the fairings ??

Do i have to take the engine out of the frame ?

No. You will have to remove the fairings. You will also need to remove or tie back the gas tank to give you access to the area. You may need to remove your starter motor as well. My advice, go online, buy a service manual. After a couple of time using it, you'll be glad you got one.
