Stator cover gasket or Honda bond

So I’m changing out my stator tomorrow since a coil got burned and was wondering about what I should use best to seal the cover.

I have a gasket that I bought, but to begin with there was no gasket; OEM uses Honda bond.

Any opinions on using the gasket instead of Honda bond or something similar? Also, how long do I need to let the Honda bond set before I can ride if I go this route?

Thanks guys!

I’ve decided to use Hnndabond. How long do I honesty need to let this stuff cure before I can ride?

Just do the job in the evening, you'll be good to go in the morning.
