gauge face color decision

Can't decide if I want my 07 white 600RR's gauge face to be. BTW, thanks for helping me picking out the color of this bike :)

BLUE/WHITE/BLUE

or GREEN/WHITE/BLUE

Pic are from different bike year/model...just wanted you to have an idea of the fuel gauge/face plate/speedometer color change.

Pics are borrowed from the excellent work of BrowningBuck (without his permission)...Hope he doesn't see this thread

Out of those choices I would pick Blue. But this is from a guy that sent is gauges to Brownbuck and kept the stock color (the best color for night riding)

Why do you say the stock color is best for night riding?

Thanks

I had BrowningBuck do my gauges. He set them up all white and it is very clear at night.

He does quality work and his customer service is second to none. I totally recommend him.

I actually like the one with the green fuel gauge. It distinguishes the fuel level from the speedo etc.

MOTY design, link is right below my signature... or pm BrowningBuck!
If you coordinate with him, he can normally get it done in a day or two. Add in shipping and from what I hear most people have them back in roughly a work week (~5 days)???

well well well

randomwalk101 why havent you posted your gauges and what you actually picked??? i cant remeber cause it has been so long but i think you went wtih the blue and white and it was great...by the way you will be hearing form my lawyer on the copyright issues here....JK

any way i like the all white on the tack and what ever colors else where.... the idea that the stock is better at night is up to interpitaion...and would be hard to prove either way. but in my theory they allow for quiker recognition with a glance of the head which means more time spen looking at the road than your gauges... the stock blends EVERYTHING together with it haveing all the same color.IMO

what do you guys think of having the possiblity to individualize your faceplates..or replace the ones your DB melted last summer??? this is what i am working on with another guy, hopefully it will be available in the next month or so (right now we are getting REAL carbon fiber face plates worked out :)

here is a custom repsol i have on my desk right now :P

Oh craps...BB found me :P BTW, man graphics on the gauge looks wayyy cool.

Here is what I finally went with...going with the poll of course :) blue/white.
Oh, and look at the milage....yes, that is the actual milage when I pulled & mod it. Bike has 2 miles right now..not because of driving, but because of running on stand to set up the gear indicator. Still waiting to put in the Yoyodyne slipper clutch :)

just thought you should know what you are doing is illegal in 48 states...keeping that perfect bike pent up in the house when it coulb be riden????anyway keep up the mods ..
