well, with all the work i'm putting into it, i guess as long as i can keep it running. i owe about 4K on it and wrecked it pretty bad. been spending most of my time and money putting it back togethor frame up.

I guess it feels more personal now.

I wouldn't mind keeping it for a while, but that's why I buy used b/cause I could flip & sell it at any moment. I guess that's how I went through 10 cars & 4 bikes in 8 years or so.

I plan on keeping this one until it falls apart. I have a lot of miles on it and dropped it numerous times, so I wanted to sell (which i never would) i probably wouldnt be able to get that much for it.

Im 22 right now and my 600rr suits my driving style just fine. I figure when I turn 25 I would get a 1000rr so insurance wont be that much and I'll have more experience. I'll likely keep my 600rr even after I get a 1000 in a few years.

The real question is how long you'll have your bike before somebody cuts you off and you have to lay it down.

I'll keep it until it stops running or it costs more to fix it then to buy a new one. It was my last "big" gift to myself before my daughter was born this year so I don't have the disposable income I once had. That's all going towards diapers/formula and her college savings fund.

That will be a sad day... [sniff]

I'm keeping mine until it just falls apart. Probably still keep it after that anyways... make a living room ornament out of it, hahah. I've had it for almost 4 years now already, but it's still running strong and still puts a smile on my face everytime, so I'll keep going with it. I do plan on adding an RC-51 to my stable sometime in the future, but most definitely not getting rid of my beloved F4i. With over 133,000 miles I probably couldn't get anything for it anyways if I tried to sell it, so it's not even worth it

-Jared

Black/Red '04 CBR 600 F4i - 304,500 miles and still kicking
Black '89 Accord LX-i sedan - 438,700 miles still running strong

I don't think I'll sell mine... I plan to eventually get a 1000rr... not for a few years though. I will probablly make the 600rr a commuter bike, or a track bike.
