i got some skull candy ear buds and they do a good job of keeping the wind noise out. i keep the volume down cuz they seal the wind out but also keep the music in. if its too loud A)you cant hear sirens horns etc and B) your ears ring from the loud music, almost as bad as the loud exhaust/wind/etc

In the car I do yes. But not on the bike. I have big over ear studio headphones and refuse to use earbuds so don't really have a choice on the bike! Otherwise I might.

Neither. I listen to talk radio or nothing.

Squid test:

So far, 13109 people (including you) have responded to this Squid Test Survey and have been tabulated.
Of those responses, the average grade is 53. Your grade was 82 (from 0 to 100)

A higher grade indicates a stronger sense of common decency, and a lower grade is an indication of conspicuous squidliness and general disregard for civilized society. Your score indicates that you are a fairly responsible motorcyclist but a bit of a wise-ass.

Hahaha.

Yes and yes.

I don't know how you can do either without. I jam like a mofo with both. Head nod and banging it out and all. Without it, I'd get so bored and lose my mind. I think that the noise of the wind (white noise) and the road causes you to zone out more than with music.

When I get into anything technical or in city traffic, I'll turn it down so that I can hear more over it, but I still need it in the background.

Cardo Scala Rider

Those of you that would like to listen to music and ride should seriously consider a Q2 helmet headset. The helmet headset will pair to a phone, GPS, passenger, and up to 2 other bikers all at the same time. It also has a jack for an audio input from an MP3 player. The unit has a built in FM radio that can be turned off/on. It has a new feature that is very handy. Set the volume and it will raise or lower depending upon your speed. Go faster and the volume goes up, slow down and the volume goes down. Click the link for info and images. We have four pages of info on the model.
