There no real answer to this ?, its all on what kinda look your after. I voted 8K 55w becuase thats what i have and like it. The 55w washes out a bit of the blue color, so it looks more like 6K 35w if that makes any sense. (DDM actually mentions this on there site)

hoenstly the 55w is a waste of an extra 15 dollars cause whatever color you want in the35 such as lets say 6k you gotta get the next step up in 55w so an 8k looks like a 6k so idk know why anyone would need the 55w

Well the 55s are noticeably brighter. And like you mentioned yourself, all you have to do is get one step up on the color.

55w 6000k-8000k. Very little difference.
Almost pure white with very little hint of blue. I think it's a perfect combination of looks and light output.

i have 6k 35w DDM's in both my truck and bike.
my truck they look more white but on the bike more hint of a blue.
either 35w or 55w is plenty bright. i chose to save $15 and go with 35w. only ridden at night once with them so far and plenty happy. and the combo of high/low you can see awesome

in my truck its 6 lanes wide

09' Black | Shogun Frame Sliders | DDM 6k HID's
TST IT-FE-Relay | Proton Front Turn Signals
Orange Rim Tape | Powder Coated Pegs | ZG Smoked OEM Windscreen

it's all your own preference I personally have DDM 6k 35w, and love them but also know people with different 55w and 35w setups, just comes down to what you like and what you want.

I've seen the color chart but...

realistically, what is the difference between 6000K and 8000K both 35W

i know 8k is more blueish and 6k is more natural sunlight but which produces max visibility

pure white will have the most visibility. once you start adding color from either side of the spectrum (yellow, the blues or through the purples) you get less brightness essentially

lefty, you rock projectors in your truck?

I'm asking because im thinking about grabbing a set for my A4 while im at it. but everyone on the audi forum is bitching that i shouldnt do it w/out projectors. their reason is too blinding to others, which is understandable but is it really a do or not to do scenario

You don't have a 4300k so I selected <4000 35w.

4300 for me is the prefect white for great visibility. 35w at that color temp is perfect without blinding people. I'm into this whole co-existing thing.

i have factory projectors on my 4Runner yep.
i have a 2" lift up front so mine will look a little brighter than normal. i hardly get anyone brighting me or mad.
seeing so much better at night is worth it. i drive a lot of country roads or mtns and the extra brightness is great.
i had factory HID's on my Audi...does your Audi not have projectors?

here are some gif files with both lights on/off

na. unfortunately it doesn't come with either hids or projectors, it's a 97 a4 2.8Q

I think im just going to stick with halogen in the a4 and restore the lenses to crystal clear with toothpaste.

currently in our bikes we have low is left high is both. I want to keep this not both on low and both on high.

which kit is it? the dual, right
