Talking Choosing a new bike?!?!?

Hi all,
I recently sold my first bike (Suzuki Gs500F), and feel like I've been reday to move up into the 600 class for a while now. Unfortunately in my area I can't seem to find any RR's that fall under my $4k price range but I have found:

1. 2002 Suzuki Gsx-R 600
2. 2001 Honda Cbr600F4i
3. 2003 Kawasaki Ninja Zx6r 636

all bikes have around 30,000 miles minus the F4i which has about 8000 miles, but needs other work done where as the gixxer and kawi don't need maintenance. I personally am not sure which bike to go with and I need help deciding what would be the next best thing to the RR mileage is not a factor to me. My brother TofuProductions rides an 05 RR and I just can't seem to get lucky enough to find a deal like his. I have had the most contact with the gixxer owner and he seems the most willing to work with me but I'm just not sure if it's going to be able to be a track ready bike ( has a lot of show work done that'd I'd be undoing/ taking off and fixing).

Thanks for the input!

Get the F4i trust me, its will be the most comfy to ride of the 3 for sure imo, plus it has lower mileage to boot. The F4i's are TANKS, theres a member who has over 200K on his :P, my prev bike as a lot of guys on here was the F4i, i loved it. Do you have pics of the bikes btw?

Get the f4i. I had an 02 that I beat the crap out of for 30000 miles. That thing was awesome. The only thing I had to do to it that wasn't my fault was the CCT at 20k.

I also started on a gs500 and bought me a 04 rr a few weeks ago. Youll love any of those 600s compared to your old bike. If they had the same milage I'd say go with the 636 but that f4i with those miles will be a great bike.

Whatever you do, don't buy the gixxer. As long as the condition is comparable, I would go for the F4i first, then the Ninja

WTB:
- Full set of race bodywork
- GP style windscreen (double bubble ok if cheap)
- Midpipe for Devil Rocket

I would agree with this, however the F4i is going to be a more practical street bike.

Ok got the scoop on the F4i today, it was crashed by the previous owner and she said all that was damaged was fairings so she bought new ones and had the bike painted. Also the tail light does not work on this bike and she doesn't know why. With all that said she refuses to drop the price below $3100 for a bike that's been down and may have more issues than I'm bargaining for. Neither of the other two bikes have been downed.

636 ftw. My cousin had one. I loved that bike and was not to happy when he sold it without telling me.

Always be wary of bikes with aftermarket or painted fairings.

Hell, even stock fairings, you really need to scrutinize the color. If it is slightly off compared to other pieces, they may have been painted, translation = crashed. I learned this one the hard way with my first bike.

Hard to vote without being able to inspect the bikes, but based on appearances from the pics, I'd probably go with the Kawi. But, if I could get over all the all show crap on the Zook and it passed the sniff test, I'd give that one a good long look.

I ended up with the 02 Gixxer. Mechanically it was the best bike I found in my $3000 price range and the owner was very easy going he even held the bike for me after I went out to look at it until I came up with all the cash. It might not be a 600rr but I'm happy with it.
