How many RR's get to stay indoors?

Just curious how many of ya get to bring your bike indoors for the winter? This is directed to the people who actually have to deal with winter to, not you lucky people in the warm areas. And if you get to bring it in, does your significant other (if you have one) mind? Does he or she complain about gas smell or other things? Im in the position this winter to be able to bring the RR inside and I just mentioned it today and already the GF is like gas smell blah blah. I said it wouldnt smell if I didnt start it up and we have plenty of room. Plus I need to put mods on during the winter and its to cold in the 'ol garage.

Even in the middle of Summer my RR spends its nights in my house next to my FZR 400.. The ground slops downward from the front of my house to the back, and there's a seperate entrance into our basement. I just fold the mirrors in and ride it right in the door.

Well it's my Mom's house and she doesn't seem to mind all that much. She's just happy to know the bike and I are still in one piece.lol..Come Winter I'm actually gonna wheel the RR into my bedroom so it doesn't take up space. (Our basement is like an attached apartment to our house and my room is down there also)..So chances are I will have to listen to my gf whenever she's over and has to look at the RR in my bedroom, and I'll have to listen to my mom for working on the FZR in the living room.haha I love it.

I put both bikes away freshly waxed and tuned up: leave them on F & R stands under two covers with battery tenders attached, Stabil in the tank and a little bit of love. It's time to start a few winter projects seeing as how there is only one more month of riding left this season.

i put it in the shed in back of the house. usually it will snow a lot and for over a month, there will be at least 2 feet of snow accumulation so i dont bother to walk back there n check on her. it would suck having it sit out in the snow because snow gets heavy and moisture will leak through the cover over time.

I'm going to put mine in my spare bedroom. My garage has been broken into before and the house has an alarm. Easy choice for me. I could install the alarm on the garage also but its a lot cheaper just to wheel her inside.

Always in the garage which is heated, cooled, and humidity controlled. Got two new cars that live outside so my baby can live in the garage just like she deserves!

I own a townhouse and roll it right through the sliding glass door and into the dining area.

Just built a 10' x 18' room in my parents barn. Fully insulated, heated and wired on my own circuit breaker. In there you'll find my two bikes along with every tool I own, two tables, storage racks, etc... It rocks!

There's also two other bikes in my family, both of which are spending their winters elsewhere. I need room to work. I will note though, my brother needed a place so I helped him build am 8' x 12' shed. Cost... less than $500 and its mint. Not heated or insulated, but its a sturdy, clean, safe roof!

Now you just need to add a bed, refrigerator and a TV with the 24 hour MotoGP channel and you would be all set!

:evil1: I have a choice either the RR inthe the garage or me. In a perfect world it would be me in the garage but then the RR would keep the wife warm at night. Mr. winky wouldn't like that very much.
