Frame Slider Poll...

Searched and didn't find one, so here goes. I know there are other slider mfgs, but I've noted the one that I most often see here.

OES... got em... love em... drop tested... unfortunately... :( Good side is i had no body damgage what so ever... see the crash forum for details but basically a dumb rider error... no body/ mech. damage, not even scratches on the handle bars... just a lil mirror rash.

Vortex. Tested and they broke the replaceable puck somewhere during the crash, but this was at the track and at 130. Did keep all the engine pieces from dragging so I think it broke off after it hit the dirt.

This weekend saw a ZX 10 dropped at a stop and had no damage using the vortex as well. Bike pivoted on the sato rearsets and the frame slider

Actually I have seen a few crashes and near crashes caused by Vortex's dragging and high centering the bike. Every racer I know has either replaced them or cut them shorter.

none... my insurance company is the best. This year, my bike got knocked over and it was payed in full (2500$) with 0$ deductible. Somehow my rates went down for next year!

Screw sliders...lol

Moriwaki here as well. Race ones, won't help your mids in a tip over though. I'd suggest the street version unless you're a track rider only. Back when I bought mine they didn't have the street version.
