warranty????

Wanted to ask everyone on here if they have used their warranty?
I personally have never used it. I don't even know when it expires, and don't really care, cause I doubt I will use it.
I guess I really stand behind Honda, cause I would have bought the bike even if it didn't come with one.

i bought the 5 yr.. not worth it.. my 0.02.... reason why.. well if the bike breaks, the warranty pple will say it's not covered ( i guess it was my bad for not looking at the fine ******* print). if the bike doesn't break then you spend 500 smackaroos for nothing. it is a good bargaining deal if you want to sell the bike but i saw a thread here that you can actually get your money back (pro-rated) if you want. i still say it's not worth it. next time i get a bike.. no extended warranty..

At this rate, 23 people either not using it or not even knowing about it and only 2 using it, it doesn't seem worth it to buy an extended warranty (though I guess some peopler here are talking about the regular one) because this amounts to $11 500 gone for nothing. You would have mess up the bike pretty badly to accumulate that much $$$ in damage, which would be covered by insurance since this would likely be a crash. Seems like a huge waste of money. I'd rather take my chances rather than pay.

From what I have heard, most of the claims don't even fall under the warranty. I don't trust those Honda service guys anyway.. Do it yourself and learn more...

I used the factory warranty for the instrument cluster that stopped working but when I needed my extended warranty I got F'ed by the company I had the warranty through (read Western or the McGraw group warranties). Those contracts and the people there are a complete joke. Just canceled that contract through them the other day.

I only took the 1 year when I got mine, then forgot to buy into the extended when it came up the next year. But fortunately I haven't had to use it, now I'm glad I didn't spend the X-hundred dollars it would have cost me.
